Participation in the International Conference

The Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law took part in the International Conference of the Memory Study Association.
On July 3-7, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences Maryna Rusanova took part in the International Conference of the Memory Study Association.
This year, the Conference was held in Newcastle (Great Britain), in the Newcastle University. More than 1,000 representatives from different countries of the world took part in it. The Memory Study Association is a professional association of scholars studying the history of the Holocaust and the facts of the genocide of enslaved peoples during military operations. In addition to scientists, it includes workers of museums, archives and other organizations related to the study of the Holocaust and the facts of genocide. The field in which M.I. Rusanova participates is studying the level of anti-Semitism in Eastern Europe.
Marina Rusanova together with her colleagues from the University of Birmingham presented the report Historical Memory and Current Social and Political Attitudes among Central, East and Southeast Europeans in the UK (Historical memory and contemporary social and political relations of migrants from Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe in the United Kingdom).
