Master’s student of the ER IPES is a European champion

Vitalii Gerasymov, master’s student of the ER IPES, became the champion in the European Ultimate Strongman Championship U 105. 

The European Ultimate Strongman Championship was held in the city of Nijmegen (Netherlands).

As part of the national team of Ukraine at these competitions, the ER IPES was represented by the World and European champion, multiple champion of Ukraine, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, 1st-year master’s student majoring in Physical Culture and Sports VITALII GERASYMOV (Dnipro).

Vitalii Gerasymov together with Volodymyr Reksha (Lviv) climbed to the top step of the podium for the sum of six exercises, ahead of the national team of the Netherlands by 6 points. Athletes from Slovakia won the bronze award.

The representatives of the second team of Ukraine Valerii Gazaiev (Melitopol) and Yevhen Nesterenko (Kyiv) took the sixth place.

It should be noted that as part of the national team of Ukraine in 2023, the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Oleksandr DUBOVOI, representative of the city of Kreminna, master of international sports of Ukraine, world champion, bronze medalist of the 2023 European Strongman Championship.
