Meeting of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education

On June 20, 2023, a meeting of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education was held.

At the beginning of the department meeting, Eduard Volodymyrovych, Director of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, Eduard Volodymyrovych, addressed the teachers and emphasized the need to carefully prepare for accreditation, which the Department will undergo in autumn, and emphasized the key stages of preparation for accreditation.

After that, the Head of the Department Burdun Viktor Vasyliovych summed up the results of the academic year.

Among the department’s achievements, he noted:

• Holding the conference “Modern Science and Education: State, Problems, Prospects”, which took place on March 20-21, 2023.
• Conducting an interdepartmental seminar “Problems of Technological Education”, in which, in addition to the Production Technologies and Professional Education, the Department of Technological Education of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and the Department of Technological and Professional Education of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University, Kropyvnytskyi took part.
• Conducting, jointly with the Luhansk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, the scientific and practical seminar “National-patriotic education by means of decorative and applied art” for students majoring in “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies”, of labor training teachers of the Luhansk region and the city of Lubny.
• Preparation of three issues of the scientific journal “Scientific Search for Young Researchers”.
• Publication of five articles by the teachers of the department in this academic year
• Passing of various professional development courses by teachers of the department.
• Publication of six educational and methodological works.
• Update of curricula and the educational programs from three specialties of the department.
• Successful completion of final certification at the first and second levels of higher education.

Reports on the educational, scientific, methodical and organizational work of the department’s teachers for the second semester of the academic year and the department’s 2022-2023 academic year were approved.

The Associate Professor Olena Volodymyrivna Skibina reported on the process of updating the working training programs and syllabi of the department’s educational components.

The senior teacher Natalia Oleksiivna Bykadorova characterized the career guidance work of the Department.

The meeting of the Department ended with the determination of the strategic directions of the department’s work for the next academic year, the setting of priorities in preparation for the accreditation of the educational and professional program of the specialty “Agrarian Production, Processing of Agricultural Products and Food Technologies” in 2023-2024.

We hope that next year the achievements of the department will be no less important.
