Final certification in the specialty “Choreography”

The final certification for bachelor’s students has been completed at the Institute of Culture and Arts. 

On June 8, the final certification was held for students majoring in Choreography of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts. 

The head of the certification commission was Tetiana Bezgreshnova, an honored worker of the education of Ukraine, an excellent teacher of the education of Ukraine, a laureate of the prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the artistic director of the folk art collective of the dance ensemble “Barvinok” of the communal institution “Poltava Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity of the Poltava City Council.

Also, the certification commission included Iryna Prodan – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts; Halyna Polianska – Candidate of Art Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Liudmyla Sokil – teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Tetiana Vilkhovchenko – teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography.

The exam consisted of several parts: theory and methods of teaching classical dance, theory and methods of teaching ballroom dance, European program, theory and methods of teaching dances of modern styles and trends, practical part from the educational discipline “Mastery of the Ballet Master”. The students completed a large amount of work in one day, which emphasizes the professional skills acquired during their studies. The certification commission was impressed by the works shown in the practical part of the educational discipline “The Mastery of the Ballet Master”.

All students got good grades. The highest scores were obtained by Polina Ivanova and Oleksandr Bezkrovnyi.
