During three days, bachelor’s students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts took state exams.

On June 5-7, the final certification was held for the fourth-year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts, the EP “Musical Art”.

The head of the certification commission was Inna Stashevska, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Educational Work of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. The commission also included Rostyslav Pidpalyi – Deputy Director of the ER ICA; Iryna Tsebrii – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, head of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Oleksandr Plohotniuk – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Yurii Kyrychenko – People’s Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Tetiana Molderf – teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography; Svitlana Tyshchyk – teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography.

The exam consisted of several parts: a comprehensive exam in professional disciplines and an attestation exam in the methodology of teaching professional disciplines. Exams were held face-to-face, except those students who for objective reasons could not be present in the city of Poltava.

Students performed solo and in ensembles, conducted the Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the ER ICA. And during the preparation of the methodology for teaching professional disciplines, tickets were drawn and the commission’s questions were answered.

The certification was held in an open format, so there were many people willing to listen and support our students. They impressed those present with the professionalism gained during four years of study. The members of the certification commission were moved by a sense of pride for their students.

The most difficult stage for the commission was the evaluation of the performances, because all the students are incredibly talented. The highest scores were obtained by Maria Tikhonova, Iryna Chumak, Iryna Mykolenko, Yuliia Ishakova, Yevhenia Gavrilyuk, Ilia Kvasha and Dmytro Lutsenko.
