The best teachers and athletes of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports are the sports glory of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

During the visit of the Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration – the Chief of the Regional Military Administration, Artem Lysogor, to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in the city of Lubny, honorary diplomas of the regional state administration for personal contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, high professionalism and many years of conscientious work were awarded the best teachers and athletes of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports:

– senior teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional sports, multiple prize-winner and champion of Ukraine, master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting VOLODYMYR DUBOVOI;

– teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, member of the national team of Ukraine, medalist of the 2022 World Games, two-time world champion, world record holder in powerlifting MYKOLA BARANNIK;

– 1st-year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”, current champion of Ukraine, 2022 world champion among young men, silver medalist of the 2023 European Powerlifting Championship OLEKSANDR LUZHBIN.
