Final certification in the specialty “Graphic Design”

The defense of the qualification papers took place at the Design Department.

On May 30, the students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts of the EP “Graphic Design” defended their qualification papers. Olga Mykolaivna Kurchakova, director of the Poltava Art Museum named after Mykola Yaroshenko, headed the attestation commission.

The Design Department joined the ER ICA in autumn 2022. Because of the war in the country, bachelor’s students were in different parts of Ukraine and abroad, but to defend the projects they came to Poltava and gathered in the cozy hall of the Poltava Art Museum named after Mykola Yaroshenko.

The bachelor’s students presented creative and interesting creative projects, described and defended their qualification works, answered the questions posed by the commission members. 

All students received good grades, most of the works were rated as “excellent”. Polina Kiichenko, Milana Zakutnia, Viktoria Sergeieva and Liliia Shapoval were the best who prepared and presented their qualification papers and received the best marks.

After the defense of qualification papers, we can confidently say that this year the Design Department trained high-level specialists who will be able to adequately represent Ukraine on the labor market.
