Celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the FNS

On May 25, celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were held in Myrhorod city.

We thank the hospitable Myrhorod city for the support as well as for organizing a solemn meeting for teachers and students!  We thank our graduates and friends for the online congratulations. Of course, we will celebrate with a large group of teachers, students, graduates, colleagues and friends after our VICTORY!

Over 100 years, our Faculty has gone through a difficult but successful path of formation and development. The guarantee of this success has always been the joint work of teachers and students of the Faculty, University Administration.

We remember the teachers, employees, students and graduates whose fate is connected with our Faculty.

We are proud of the fact that at different times, not just highly qualified specialists worked at the Faculty, but Teachers with a capital letter, Scientists known all over the world. Even now, in very difficult conditions, the Faculty is a worthy member of the big friendly family of our University.

We are happy that today tens of thousands of our graduates are fruitfully working all over the world and worthily bear the name – graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

We are glad that more and more active and creative students join our faculty every year. We believe that they will become worthy members of our student family.

With special gratitude, we remember our teachers, students, graduates and friends who stood up for the defense of our state. Today, more than 250 students and a thousand graduates of our faculty defend our country in the hottest spots of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Not all of them will return home. Among them are Artem Gurtovyi, Yevhen Yakovets, Volodymyr Tolkachov, Ivan Bodak… Bright eternal memory to all the fallen Defenders!

Thanks to our Defenders, we confidently look to the future!

We believe that Victory, peace, harmony and new achievements await us, which will be a guarantee for the further development of our Faculty, our native Alma Mater, our native Ukraine!
