Meeting of representatives of the ER IPP

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology met with employees of the Social Protection Department of the Executive Committee of the Lubny City
Council.

On May 26, the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work of the ER IPP, Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education met with the employees of the Social Protection Department of the Executive Committee of the Lubny City Council. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the workers of this state institution about the specialties “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”, “Special Education. Speech Therapy. Special Psychology”, “Special Education. Oligophrenopedagogy. Special Psychology”, “Psychology”, according to which the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology trains specialists.

At the meeting, it was noted that by choosing the “Social Work” and “Special Education” specialties, students get the opportunity to study in various educational programs, which ensures not only the acquisition of the main specialty, but also additional specializations and professional competencies. This allows graduates to be competitive in the modern labor market, because the field of social work and psychological support is extremely relevant, promising, constantly transforming in accordance with new challenges and state policy.

The meeting was meaningful, dynamic and thorough, the information provided by representatives of the ER IPP interested the staff of the social protection administration of the Executive Committee of the Lubny City Council.
