State Examination at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

State certification was held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
From May 12 to 20, state exams were taken by candidates for a bachelor’s degree in full-time and part-time forms of teaching specialties: «Philology. Oriental languages and literatures (translation included), the first – Japanese. Language and Literature (Japanese, English)», «Philology. Oriental languages and literatures (translation included), the first – Chinese». Language and Literature (Chinese, English) and «Secondary Education. Language and literature (English, Spanish, German, French) », 035.041 «Philology. Germanic languages and literatures (including translation), the first is English. Translation (English, Chinese)».
The students, despite their preparation, were really worried, but the working atmosphere and support of the examiners helped to achieve positive results.
The head of the examination commission this year was Yanina Tyagiltseva – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian and Social Disciplines of the Poltava State Agrarian University. Also, the examination board was headed by the acting dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Viktoriia Dmytrenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, acting Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology Olha Yunina, Acting Head of the Translation Studies Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Perova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages for Specific Purposes Svitlana Shpetna, and, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Head of the Department of Oriental Languages Daria Perepadiia.
All graduates passed the exams for positive grades and confirmed the results they received during four years of fruitful study. Most of the graduates expressed a desire to continue their student careers at our university at the second master’s level of higher education.
Therefore, the Faculty of Foreign Languages wishes each graduate new achievements, inspiration and desire to remain in the scientific and philological spheres, as well as is pleased to welcome everyone to the master’s degree next academic year.
