Congratulations on the Anniversary
Today, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University marks its 100th anniversary since its foundation!
We heartily congratulate professors, teachers, students, all employees on the 100th anniversary of the university – one of the most powerful higher educational institutions in eastern Ukraine. Over the years of your activity, you have come a long way from the Luhansk People’s College to a university that has been awarded the honorary status of a national. Behind this state recognition is the inspired work of scientific and pedagogical workers, the high achievements of students and the growing authority of graduates.
Today, thousands of highly qualified specialists trained at the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University successfully work not only in our country, but also abroad, putting into practice the knowledge gained at the university and generating their own modern ideas.
Despite the difficulties that fell on the lot of educational institutions displaced from the temporarily occupied territories, the university staff was able to maintain and enhance its long-standing traditions, strengthen the material and technical base, and not lose personnel potential. All this strengthened your truly deserved authority and universal recognition.
Today, our country faces another challenge – the fight against the COVID-19 virus. And we are sure that the concerted actions, the unity of the nation and the professionalism of medical workers will overcome this problem and very soon you will celebrate this honorable date with the whole friendly team together with your friends!
We sincerely congratulate our dear colleagues on the anniversary! We wish you happiness, creative success, inspiration, new achievements and to each of you – peace and good health. And we wish the young generation of students to achieve their goals and to maintain high status as specialists of the modern level and work fruitfully for the benefit of the development of the city and the State! Happy holiday!
Sincerely, Vitalii Kurylo, Chairman of the Academic Council
and Rector of the University Serhii Savchenko
