Meeting of the Academic Council
Today joint meeting of the Academic Council and labor collective conference has been held in Starobilsk where Luhansk National University is located now.
There were several important questions on the agenda, including the following: on the tasks of university staff for the new academic year (DOWNLOAD RECTORATE PLAN) and approval of the working plan of LNU Academic Council for the first semester of 2015 – 2015 academic year. In addition, the variation of collective contract was considered.
Pro-rector on scientific and pedagogical work Dmytro Uzhchenko reported on the competitive questions. So, the following people stand for the post of the Institute Director: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associated Professor Valerii Khmel (Institute of Economy and Business), Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associated Professor Hennadii Mohylnyi (Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies), and Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration, Associated Professor Volodymyr Zablotskyi (Institute of Continuing Education and Distance Study). Mykhailo Sapizhak was a candidate for the post of the director of the standalone subdivision – Brianka College of LNU. For the post of the Dean of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Tetiana Pinchuk; Faculty of Foreign Languages – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associated Professor Ivan Karpenko. The list of the candidates for the post of the Head of the Department included: Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Kateryna Hlukhovtseva (Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics); Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associated Professor Natalia Fedotova (Department of Journalism and Publishing); Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associated Professor Olha Maliuk (Department of Document Science and Information Activity); Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associated Professor Serhii Shynkarov (Department of Physical Education); Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associated Professor Viacheslav Stepanenko (Department of Laboratory Diagnostics). All candidates were elected according to the results of secret voting.
