On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages visited children at the Poltava Social Protection Center with gifts.
The life principle of Nicholas was to give happiness, joy and warmth to those who sincerely need it – children. They are waiting for a truly “Holiday Miracle”! So, students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages visited the Poltava Social Protection Center of Children of Temporary Detention in order to present each child with a fairy tale that they really lack!
Children received various puzzles, exercise books and warm clothes. Students did not forget that children love most of all, so they presented them with sweets and fruits. Both students and children were delighted with spending time together: they played, sang songs and danced.
Students came from the orphanage in an enthusiastic mood and with the feeling that they would definitely return with new gifts and lots of positive emotions next year! After all, how pleasant and necessary it is to give joy to such small and defenseless ones!
