International Volunteer Day
On December 5, students of LTSNU celebrate the International Volunteer Day.
Everybody in the world calls the day dedicated to volunteers as International Volunteer Day. Volunteers are very caring people; they are ready to neglect their interests for the sake of others.
Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, with the support of the student social service and the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, visited the Luhansk regional organization of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind, presented them their warm and sweet gifts. Caring for completely alien people is something without which a volunteer cannot be a real volunteer. Especially people with disabilities need our care and help.
After congratulations, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology visited the Luhansk Regional Museum of Local Lore. There they listened to a video lecture on the activities and history of the Red Cross Society in the world and Ukraine. Some students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University have already become volunteers. So, you also can join and make the world better!
