«European and American Education for the Benefit of Ukraine»
On November 28, 2018, the conference «European and American Education for the Benefit of Ukraine» was held in Kyiv.
The conference became the final stage of the project «Open Society Support: My History», implemented by Lviv and Kharkiv Centers “Education” with the financial support of the Network Scholarship Programs of the Foundation “Open Society”. The conference was attended by the head of the Oriental Languages Department of Taras Shevchenko National University, the associate professor Fedicheva N.V. who participated in the Cambridge Colleges Hospitality Scheme program.
The purpose of the conference “European and American Education for the Benefit of Ukraine” was to discuss the results of participation in the programs by graduates of international academic exchanges as well as possible forms of their cooperation with the Open Society Foundation and the US Government through grants for graduate programs of exchanges.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Open Society Foundation, the International Renaissance Foundation and the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The conference was held at the American House in Kyiv, the main venue where the US government holds cultural programs and awareness-raising events in Ukraine.
