The students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held a literary and musical event under the symbolic name “Autumn Intermezzo”.
On November 6, first-year students of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications summed up the results of the course “Ukrainian language (in a professional direction)” in an unusual way and held an autumn poetry-opening day.
In the hall decorated with autumn compositions, first-year students read poems by contemporary Ukrainian writers, including poets from the Luhansk region, presented texts of their own letters, mentally addressed to the beauty of autumn.
Nadiya Bezgodova, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and General Linguistics, became the ideological inspirer of the celebration. The program of the event also included an extramural excursion “Starobilsk Nocturne” based on the photos of the autumn nature of Starobilsk made by the teacher.
The guests of the holiday had the opportunity to evaluate not only the level of students’ knowledge of professional discipline, but also their acting skills, because the festive program organically combined both dance and song based on modern melody, and expressive reading of prose, poems, and humorous tales.
We wish students success in study, creative inspiration and implementation of all subsequent plans in life.
