Students and teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Culture and Arts on the 22th of September, 2018 officially participated in a large-scale art project “Poltava EMBROIDERED”.
This project is an important holiday for all residents and guests of Poltava. On the occasion of the holiday, all students and teachers of the two subdivisions: the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Culture and Arts, which are located in Poltava, officially joined the solemn procession. The elated mood of all participants of this day has been brightened up by the sunny weather, which lit up a long column of our students and teachers in bright beautiful embroideries.
Students of the Institute of Culture and Arts took an active part in the events dedicated to the Day of Poltava. So, students of the specialty “Fine Arts” and “Decorative and Applied Art” prepared a floral composition, which was presented in the exhibition “Tsveti, Poltava”, and the student of the specialty “Musical Art” Sergei Spysyuk performed in a festive city concert.
Especially it should be mentioned the participation of foreign students at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, who happily walked side by side with Ukrainian students in the parade.
During the march, students and teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Culture and Art proudly glorified our alma mater by writing the quatrain about our university the day before. Students of the specialty “Choreography” were unequaled with dance elements, which highlighted our university from the general procession of all other universities. In the transparent September air, the State University “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” was proudly sounded!
