Internship in France and Slovakia
Our mathematicians passed an internship in France and Slovakia.
Among the main objectives of the development strategy of our University is the creation of optimal conditions for academic mobility for university teachers and students, the constant provision of the educational process with highly qualified personnel, with international experience in organizing training and knowledge assessment, and training foreigners. To solve these problems, it is necessary to involve university professors to take internships abroad and take part in international grants, to exchange students, graduate students and teachers for various academic and scientific programs. The teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies actively participate in the advanced training programs in the leading European universities in order to realize this development strategy.
In July 2018, Anatolii Zhuchok, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, passed a scientific internship at the Laboratory of Computer Science and Systems of the University of Aix-Marcel (Marseille, France). The report of Anatolii Zhuchok at the scientific seminar aroused considerable interest among those present. It was noted that the project of our scientist has a high scientific level. Within a month, in collaboration with the leading mathematicians of the laboratory, a study was conducted in the field of modern algebra and a joint scientific publication was prepared. It should be noted that the University of Aix-Marseille traditionally holds leading positions in the rankings of the best universities in France, has a high level of quality of education and an impeccable reputation among students from all over the world.
In addition, from the middle of April 2018, another lecturer of the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Yurii Zhuchok passed a three-month scientific internship at the Institute of Mathematics of the Paul Josef Safarik University (Kosice, Slovakia). In particular, Yu.V. Zhuchok made reports at the algebraic seminar of the host university and the scientific seminar of the Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Kosice. As a result of cooperation, general scientific interests were found with the algebraists of the Institute of Mathematics and a publication was prepared. Moreover, further scientific cooperation with scientists of the Paul Josef Safarik University in Kosice is planned.
Congratulations to our colleagues! We wish them new successes in their work for the development of Ukrainian science!
