Earth Hour in Ukraine
On March 25, students and teachers took part in the Earth Hour action.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University joined the world’s largest environmental movement, which encourages hundreds of millions of people around the world to change something in their lives for the sake of the Planet.
On March 25 at 20:30, students and teachers turned off the light for one hour. This was a symbol of unity with the world community in the desire to protect nature.
“During the Earth Hour, you can sit without light with your friends or family – light candles and in a cozy atmosphere talk about our Planet, arrange a romantic evening, or spend this hour in a different way, as fantasy tells. But do not forget that the Earth Hour is just the beginning. Every day, think about our Planet and help it,” – Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Oleksandr Livatsky commented.
